So the flurry of nesting that should have followed a 7-month pregnant Kristie moving into a new place complete with a nursery took a little detour. We moved in on March 15th, and despite the landlord's assurances, we found the bathroom floors undone, no working shower, no kitchen sink, and the contractor's equipment still on the back porch.
There is a happy ending, though, as all of the undone work was finished fairly quickly, and Kristie has been able to concentrate on filling the apartment with new things. The smallest room in the house has also started to come together (after a couple of thrilling trips to Baby's R Us), and some of the gear is already getting test driven by our current residents.
